Japan Casino School to Train Dealers for MGM Osaka

OSAKA - Japan Casino School has announced plans to launch a new training course in April 2027 to prepare casino dealers for MGM Osaka, the operator of the integrated resort under construction on Yumeshima, Osaka, with a target of training 500 dealers annually ahead of the facility's opening.

The new course, officially approved by MGM Osaka, will provide practical training in casino operations, including dealing techniques, alongside English conversation lessons and education on measures to prevent gambling addiction.

The program is designed to develop personnel for the integrated resort, which will include a casino, as preparations continue for the launch of Japan's first such facility.

Japan Casino School Principal Sei-etsu Oiwane said the initiative would help establish casino dealing as a recognized career path in Japan while opening opportunities for people to work internationally.

"We want to establish casino dealing as a profession and show people that it offers opportunities to connect with the world," Oiwane said.

Japan Casino School aims to train 500 casino dealers each year through the program, contributing to the development of a skilled workforce for the country's emerging casino industry.
