Jul 09 (NHK) - The body of former Prime Minister Abe Shinzo has returned to his home in Tokyo. Abe was shot to death on Friday while giving a speech in the western city of Nara.
The vehicle carrying Abe's body arrived at his home in the Shibuya district around 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
After a police autopsy, the vehicle carrying Abe's body left the hospital before 6 a.m. on Saturday, accompanied by his wife.
