Aug 28 (Hindustan Times) - Japan is all set for its lunar mission Moon Sniper that is due for launch on August 28. JAXA – Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency – has one of the world’s biggest space programs but is yet to land a spacecraft on the moon.
Japan’s moonshot comes in wake of India’s historic Chandrayaan-3 which soft-landed on the Moon’s south pole on August 23, becoming the fourth country to kiss the lunar surface.
