Pachinko parlour

If playing slots is something you enjoy, then visiting a pachinko parlour could be right up your street. Featuring the only legalised form of gambling in Japan, pachinko parlours feature slot machines for players to spin and play. These are dotted around Japan, and are played by the local people on a regular basis, however these are popular tourist destinations.

Just like the pachinko parlours, players also enjoy the thrill of playing their favourite games at crazy time casino, where they offer great casino games such as slots, poker and blackjack.

Arguably one of the biggest and busiest cities in the world, Tokyo is one of the main hotspots for tourists visiting Japan, featuring numerous stores such as the Yodobashi Akiba, one of the largest technology stores in the world, hosting anything you could ever want or need in the world of tech.

Along with the city skylines, Tokyo is also host to numerous neighbourhoods, which none alike the previous, this offers a unique experience for each one you visit making each one different.

Hiroshima

If history is your thing, then Hiroshima is a must visit for you. Now a thriving city, Hiroshima doesn’t hide it’s history and the Peace Memorial Museum is a true eye opener and one to go to reflect and pay your respects.

There’s also a park around the museum which offers further opportunities to take in the city and reflect on its history of one of the most tragic events in human history.

Mount Fuji

Not one for the faint hearted, Mount Fuji offers stunning once in a lifetime views, at the cost of the task of climbing to the top. However if this isn't your thing, the views from the bottom and far away are just as impressive. The most ideal time to go is between July and September to avoid rainy and snowy season. Be sure to check with a professional before attempting to climb and always do your research.

Famous for it’s stunning forest walks, this is a complete opposite to visiting Tokyo, but one we think is a must do. You’ll be taken on stunning walks through the outdoors and be as close to nature as possible. You have the option to either take simpler easy day walks through the wildlife, or more challenging walks up some of the biggest mountains in the world.

Osaka

The third largest city in Japan, this one takes the top spot for nightlife and food. Featuring some of the best street food in the world, Osaka is a real must for any foodie visiting. It’s also known for having Japan’s oldest merchant centre, where you can eat till your heart's content.

With numerous bars, lit up by giant led lights, you’ll be sure to find somewhere that takes your fancy.

Southwest Islands

The completely opposite experience to anything on this list, Okinawa and the southwest islands offer tropical styled beaches filled with white sand and bright blue beaches. Fancy a break from the bit city and nightlife? Look no further than Okinawa then where you can take yourself off and either sit by the beach, or swim and snorkel in the clear blue sea.

Koya-San

Featuring over 100 temples, Koya-San is a must go whilst visiting Japan. With some temples offering a purely historic and informational visit, other temples offer the opportunity to stay overnight, eat there and even meditate with local monks. Anyone looking to learn about the history of Japan, this is definitely one place to put on your list.

Japan is a country with immense culture, passion and heart in every place you look.
