TOKYO, Jul 26 (News On Japan) - A manager of a men's concept cafe in Tokyo's Akihabara district has been arrested on suspicion of violating the Employment Security Act by introducing female customers to illegal men's massage parlors to pay off high bills.
Yūya Fujita, the 26-year-old manager of the men's concept cafe, is suspected of introducing a 23-year-old female customer to an illegal men's massage parlor that provides sexual services in February, according to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department.
Fujita reportedly persuaded the female customer to order a 360,000 yen champagne bottle by telling her, "Let's get married since I'm quitting the store."
When the woman, struggling financially, sought advice on how to make money, Fujita introduced her to the illegal massage parlor.
Two representatives from the introduced establishments have also been arrested on suspicion of violating the Anti-Prostitution Law.
Fujita has admitted to the allegations.
