Suspects may have robbed slain woman of bitcoins

Aug 03 (NHK) - Two men arrested in connection with a woman whose body was found in a forest in central Japan may have stolen hundreds of dollars' worth of bitcoins after abandoning her body.

On Monday, the body of 53-year-old Miyuki Noda was found in the woods in Shiga Prefecture.

20-year-old Ichiya Nishida and an 18-year-old boy are suspected of burying her body in June.

Police say they have admitted to the charges.

Nishida reportedly suggested he had been having trouble with Noda over investments involving the virtual currency.
