Jul 12 (Japan Today) - Police in Tokyo on Monday arrested a 37-year-old man on suspicion of killing an 18-year-old woman in a love hotel.
According to police, the suspect, Yuta Miyagi, whose occupation is unknown, lives in Saitama. Kyodo News reported that he showed up at a koban (police box) in Ikebukuro at around 4:15 a.m. Monday and told officers that he had strangled a woman in a love hotel room. Police went to the hotel and found the woman lying in the bathtub.
Police said the woman, Fuka Yamaguchi, was declared dead at the scene.
The hotel is located 500 meters from JR Ikebukuro Station.
