Tokyo Disneyland Launches Second Instalment of 'Disney Easter Parade' Featuring Donald Duck on April 9

TOKYO - Tokyo Disneyland is set to host the second installment of its special event series, "Disney's Party Palooza," from April 9 (Tuesday) to June 30 (Sunday), titled "Donald's Quacky Duck City." The second phase of "Disney's Party Palooza" features Donald Duck as the star. The event series, themed around having fun and playing with friends, derives its name from the combination of "Pal," meaning friends, and "Palooza," signifying a lively party.

Following the first installment starring Minnie Mouse, "Donald's Quacky Duck City" puts Donald Duck in the spotlight. Guests can enjoy the park transformed into "Duck City," an ideal city envisioned by Donald where he is the superstar.

During the event, a new entertainment program, "Quacky Celebration★Donald The Legend!" will be performed along the parade route and at the Castle Forecourt. Characters dressed in Donald's signature colors of blue, white, and yellow will celebrate Donald's superstar status in various fields, including movies and culinary arts, joining the elated Donald in a festive frenzy.

This parade will also mark the first appearance of "Pete," a character who has been active since the early days of Walt Disney Animation Studios, in the entertainment offerings of Tokyo Disney Resort.

Furthermore, the Mickey floral bed at the entrance will be transformed into a Donald floral bed, and a monument of superstar Donald will be erected in the center of World Bazaar. Decorations throughout the park will reflect Duck City, along with the introduction of special merchandise and a special menu.

In addition, Disney hotels will offer rooms themed after "Donald's Quacky Duck City" and special menus, while the Disney Resort Line will sell a limited-edition free pass featuring the design of "Donald's Quacky Duck City" from April 8 (Monday) at automatic ticket vending machines at each station.

The entire Tokyo Disney Resort will be enveloped in the unique world that Donald has dreamed of, offering a comprehensive experience for visitors. (Edited by Modelpress)
