Prostitution Scandal in Kabukicho

TOKYO, Jul 22 (News On Japan) - A 21-year-old woman has been arrested in Tokyo's Kabukicho district for allegedly forcing a girl, known as a "Toe-yoko" girl, into prostitution. A 36-year-old man has also been arrested for allegedly assaulting the girl.

The suspect, Towa Sakayori, who is unemployed, is accused of forcing a first-year high school student, who was 15 at the time, into prostitution in October last year.

Akito Iida, 36, has been arrested for allegedly assaulting the girl.

According to the Metropolitan Police Department, Sakayori met Iida through social media and introduced him to several individuals, including members of the "Toe-yoko Kids" in Kabukicho.

Additionally, a 19-year-old man has been arrested for violating the Child Welfare Act for introducing the same girl to Iida.

Sakayori and the 19-year-old man deny the charges, while Iida remains silent.
