Unexpected Sighting: Deer Invade Hokkaido Neighborhood

HOKKAIDO, Aug 17 (News On Japan) - In Muroran, Hokkaido, an astonishing scene unfolded as the front yard of a home suddenly became overrun with deer. The surprised resident shared their experience of the unusual event.

In a residential area of Muroran, Hokkaido, deer could be seen grazing in the shade.

“I opened the balcony door and found five or six deer right in front of me. I panicked,” the resident recounted.

Even as this month progresses, the herd of deer continues to appear. The next day, an even more surprising scene awaited.

“Ahh,” the resident exclaimed.

The number of deer had increased.

“When I counted, there were 13,” they said.

From five to 13 deer—clearly, the grass in the yard was to their liking.

“They ate the grass, then rested in the shade of the house across the street, and repeated this cycle for three hours,” the resident explained.
