Saitama Teacher Arrested for Installing Camera in Girls' Dressing Room

Saitama, Aug 27 (News On Japan) - A male high school teacher in Saitama City has been arrested for allegedly installing a small camera in the dressing room of a school dormitory to secretly film female students.

The suspect, Ayato Suzuki, 36, is accused of entering the girls' dressing room of a public high school in Saitama City, where he works, on August 17 and setting up a small camera to record multiple female students without their knowledge.

According to police, the incident came to light when a female student noticed something resembling a camera on the floor while cleaning the dressing room.

Several videos, suspected to have been recorded on different occasions, were found on the SD card seized by the authorities.

Suzuki has admitted to the charges, stating, "There is no doubt that I entered the girls' dressing room without permission and installed the camera."

Police are continuing their investigation, suspecting that there may be additional crimes.
