Sep 19 (Japan by Food) - Join Fashion Director Babymary as she takes us on a journey through Harajuku’s Neighborhood and its hidden vegan-friendly etas. Babymary, owner of the iconic Missfaline apparel brand in Kita-Aoyama, has lived in Harajuku for over 20 years.
She was instrumental in introducing the world to the original Harajuku KAWAII culture, with many international celebrities and personalities visiting her Harajuku and Omotesando stores, collaborating to create fashion trends. Living a vegan lifestyle, Babymary will guide us through some of the best vegan restaurants in the Harajuku/Omotesando area and near Yoyogi Park. Among our stops is the urban hideaway, Brown Rice Tokyo—a traditional Japanese restaurant nestled in a lush botanical space. We'll also visit Kakan Mapotofu Tomigaya, known for its delicious bean curd tofu made with soy meat.
