Akita, Dec 09 (News On Japan) - The supermarket reopened its doors after a week, regaining its usual bustle as customers streamed in.
On October 30th, a bear entered a supermarket in Akita City and stayed for two days before being captured. Following a week-long closure, the store resumed operations.
A local customer shared: "It’s convenient since it’s nearby, so I’m glad it reopened."
"I'm really happy; this is my closest supermarket."
The store undertook thorough disinfection and cleaning, replacing fresh food items before reopening.
Ito-Yokado Sales Manager Kudo Yohbun commented: "We are delighted to reopen and contribute once again to everyone’s daily lives."
