Wasabi Feast! Harvesting Fresh Wasabi in Izu, Shizuoka!

Feb 28 (Japan by Food) - Join Shizuka as she travels to the Izu peninsula in Shizuoka prefecture, to harvest one of Japan’s most popular condiments, wasabi!

In this first place award wining Eat! Meet! Japan experience, Shizuka learns all about how real wasabi is grown and harvested, and enjoys a delicious meal with freshly grated wasabi.

Because wasabi is so difficult to grow, it can be difficult to find real wasabi.During this experience, Shizuka get’s to try all the different ways of enjoying fresh wasabi in a course meal, complete with a wasabi cocktail!
