Smoke Detected from Plane after Landing at Narita Airport

TOKYO, Aug 12 (News On Japan) - Smoke was reportedly seen coming from the engine of a Singapore Airlines aircraft after it landed at Narita Airport on Monday morning.

According to the Narita City Fire Department, at approximately 7:50 a.m. on August 12th, a report was received that smoke appeared to be coming from the engine of a Singapore Airlines plane that had just landed on runway B at Narita Airport.

As of now, no injuries have been confirmed.

Of the two runways at Narita, runway B was temporarily closed but has since reopened.

Debris from a tire was found on the runway.
