OSAKA, Sep 18 (News On Japan) - Three men, including the manager of an adult entertainment business, were arrested on suspicion of arranging prostitution for Chinese tourists in Osaka Prefecture.
On September 16th, suspect Seki Hiroshi, 32, a Chinese national and manager of the non-store-based adult entertainment service “Sakazakiya,” was transferred to the police station.
Seki and two other male employees are suspected of dispatching Japanese women to hotels in Osaka Prefecture for prostitution with three Chinese male customers.
The website for Sakazakiya was heavily written in Chinese. According to police, the business targeted Chinese tourists and exchange students staying in Japan, while all of the female employees were Japanese.
Why was the service limited to Chinese clients? A person connected to another Osaka adult entertainment business explained: "Recently, more Chinese customers have been asking whether full sex is available. Since they pay high rates, businesses likely thought it would be more profitable to focus on them."
