Fans celebrate test run of Kanazawa-Tsuruga bullet train

TOKYO, Oct 01 (News On Japan) - In preparation for the opening of the Hokuriku Shinkansen Kanazawa-Tsuruga section next March, welcome ceremonies were held Sunday at various train stations along the route.

The extension of the Hokuriku Shinkansen high-speed line, spanning 124 kilometers from Kanazawa to Tsuruga via Fukui, is scheduled to commence operations on March 16, 2024.
