OSAKA, Feb 03 (News On Japan) - For the third consecutive year, the hourly wages of employees at Universal Studios Japan (USJ) are set to increase. The operating company of USJ has announced a uniform wage increase of 50 yen for part-time and temporary employees starting from April.
While the minimum wage in Osaka Prefecture is ¥1,064, the minimum hourly wage at USJ will be raised to ¥1,210.
A representative from USJ stated, "Thanks to our employees, operations have been running smoothly, and we wish to give back to them. With the rise in tourism demand, we aim to secure talent by improving compensation."
